(Kansas City, MO) The Mutual Musicians Foundation International (MMFI) and the Kansas City Blues Society in conjunction with Enroll America/Get Covered America, are hosting a day to inform and sign up musicians for the new private health insurance options on the federal Health and Human Services Marketplace.
When: Monday, March 10, 2014
Where: Mutual Musicians Foundation 1823 Highland Ave
Time: Noon to 4:00 pm.
“Musicians are the life blood of entertainment in this city and we need to be much more vigilant in providing them quality of life options such as health care.” Said Anita J. Dixon, Executive Director of the MMFI.
People needing health insurance should make an appointment by calling 816-444-1121, and saying that they want to be seen at the Mutual Musician’s Foundation on March 10 or go to the www.mutualmusiciansfoundation.org, or www.kcbluessociety.org and leave messages with your name and contact number.
Navigators with the Shepherd’s Center will be present to provide no-cost face-to-face help with choosing and enrolling in a private health insurance plan offered on the Marketplace.
